Deborah Ann "Debby" Ryan, born May 13, 1993, in Huntsville, Alabama, is an American actress, singer-songwriter, producer, and director.[1][2][3] Raised in a military family, she lived in Germany until age 10, learning to speak German fluently, and began professional stage acting at seven on a U.S. base there before returning to the United States.[1][3][5] Ryan rose to fame as a Disney Channel star after being discovered in a nationwide talent search.
